Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, USA, Newmedical Technology is committed to continual improvement and innovation of products and services through both internal research and development as well as ongoing collaboration with medical professionals and patients. All Newmedical products are made in the U.S.A. at our FDA registered, cGMP compliant, and ISO certified manufacturing facility.

  • Bone Dice external fixation device receives FDA 510K clearance
  • UniTable surgical hand table developed, manufactured launched
  • T-Set tenoloysis instruments for hand surgery developed, manufactured and launched.
  • WICS wound containment irrigation system developed

2005

  • NewGel+ receives FDA 510(k) clearance as a Class 1 medical device
  • NewGel+ sheeting launched

2007

  • WICS wound containment irrigation system patent granted
  • Patent granted on a composite sheet for delivering therapeutic agents to the skin

2011

  • NewGel+E topical gel launched
  • Received “Illinois Exporter of the Year” Award

2013

Patent granted for transdermal delivery system of therapeutic agents

2014

  • Achieved ISO 13485:2003 certification
  • Silagen professional line launched with sheeting and 100% Pure Silicone Gel

2015

Silagen Gel + SPF 30 launched, 1st silicone scar gel with mineral sunscreen.

2016

  • BruiseMD & Devrasorb acquired
  • Received “The State of Illinois Excellence in Exporting” award

2017

NewGel+UV launches outside of the US
