BEIGE Backing – Durable cloth Beige backing is the thickest with suitable for all areas of the body where flexation is less of a concern. While the sturdy cloth backing is still stretchable and conformable, it is most preferred where treatment areas do not exhibit high levels of movement.
CLEAR Backing – This Clear backing is completely transparent. Typically used on areas of the body that are exposed, such as the face, arms of legs, NewGel+ clear offers the aesthetic advantage of being less noticeable while in use.
BLUE Backing – This Blue backing is the thinnest and used in areas that require mobility, preferred for those areas of the body where optimal stretch and flexibility are necessary, such as fingers, small joints and areas of the body subject to higher levels of movement.
All versions of NewGel+ are equally effective and all can be used on any part of the body requiring scar management. All NewGel+ products are produced from pure medical grade silicone, are non-sensitizing, comfortable to wear and FDA approved.
